Picked this cutie a little over a week ago. She is a pug/terrier/other-things mix, and her name is Holly. She’s pretty much perfect, but is still very much a puppy. As you can see she thought she could hang on the couch from Day 1. She’s just as happy with her dog bed. Her tail never stops.

While at work I can track the dog walker and pup’s every move by Pet Check. They also walk with a friend named Jackie O. Holly is still perfecting her housetraining, and as you can see from the thorough report she’s getting the hang of it. I also have an animated gif of Holly bookmarked for easy access.

I don’t know what it is, but I’ve been supporting a couple of Vermont’s small businesses and just realized it. I ordered the above Ursa Major’s Natural Face Wash the other day. I can’t wait to try it out, plus that packaging by PTARMAK is perdy.

Today I came across this awesome Farmstead Goat Milk Caramels by Big Picture Farm, knowing I’d have someone who would love them, I grabbed some. They sell it at my local cheese shop, but I have a feeling they won’t be there after the holiday rush.

Plus you can get to know the goats…

I’m a huge fan of Meyer’s soap, and was pretty pumped to find this DIY of how to make a four dollar bar of Meyer’s soap and transform it into a gallons worth of refill liquid soap. Is the sweat and time worth it? Only one way to find out.

Past couple of months I’ve come across a few illustrations on Vanity Fair.com which I’ve really loved. One was of Rick Perry, another of Charlie Sheen, and for that reason I never thought to compare illustrators. The other day I came across another, this time Mitt Romney. All these works were by Andre Carrilho. He might be old news nor lacking work, but I’ve become obsessed with his style and I didn’t even know it. He’s had work in Vanity Fair, The New Yorker, The Independent, and Billboard Magazine. His latest was an illustration for the final essay by Christopher Hitchens. If he made any of these prints I’d buy one, I’d buy them all, so maybe it’s a good thing he doesn’t.

These are a few more of my favorites. Visit his Flickr for an endless library of his work.

Pop Up Flea is back this weekend. Kicks off this afternoon/3pm with a lot of the brands you know, and a lot you don’t. Check out their new location this year at 159 Bleecker.

Thought these Bears in Love Brass Figurines being sold on Fab.com were pretty amazing. They were sold out pretty fast. Good thing because I really didn’t need to spend $142 on a humping bear figure.

Great design of a desk to eliminate the cords as best as possible. Judging by the creators Odmark the desk doesn’t come with standard U.S. outlets, but at least I hope there are a few USB ports under there. Check out more…
