PAPER VS. NYLON
- So I picked up the gig at Paper Magazine back in August as I was denied a paying spot at Nylon magazine after an interview, good meeting, and my interviewer agreed good portfolio to show. Heading into my three months mark at Paper I was emailed by the guy at Nylon to take the position which is now open again. It's a odd feeling, to be rejected, welcomed by another, and then obviously have the 'rejector asking for me to come back and take the position.
- Now I have Paper looking to see if they would like to keep me, or send me off to a rival who are willing to pay me, and are hoping to be able to offer me a full-time position. I have a love for Paper, but it would also be great to move to a new company, meet new people, and grow my network, especially with a magazine which has a greater audience.
- I have lots to figure out in the next days, hours, and hope all goes well, and falls in my favor.
