I’m in love with those little brown birds who normally hang out with pigeons. They’re usually doing one of two things: waiting for crumbs or taking dirt baths. Apparently they are doing a lot more when we all aren’t watching, according to Marc John’s illustration series, What Birds Do When We Aren’t Looking. I’m hoping he makes it into a book very soon....

I’m no movie buff nor a movie snob but I’ve been obsessed with the movie Drive since seeing it at the somewhat new Nitehawk Cinema a block from my place in Williamsburg. I love the characters, the actors, the plot, the action, the violence, and Carey Mulligan. The thing that ties it all together the sound track.
