If I was to pick one place to stay all Summer hands down it would be where I spent most every Summer when I was little, Newport Rhode Island. High up on this list would be this place, Captain Jack’s Wharf cabins in Provincetown, on the tip of Cap Cod. My mother lives right under the Cape, and I have lived in the Rhode Island and Massachusetts to the age of 23, and I’ve only been to...

A have a number of favorite blogs I check out on a daily basis. Many of them are design or art related, the rest are generally sports related. Sometimes that can get a bit boring so I check out some fashion or lifestyle blogs…yep. Men’s fashion blogs are just boring. I currently live with two girls, I grew up with three. Girls rule, and they make some blogs that are hard to avoid. My...

Recently I’ve been having some superb weekends (like the weekend before last’s pool party) and this weekend was no exception as it was Mackenzie’s brithday evening of surprisesĀ (from me). It began with a night at the Ace Hotel in my favorite named New York hood NoMad. It’s easily the best thought out, curated, and run hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Easily. I totally...

Living is easy when you have nothing to do. Giving you plenty of time to play a little table tennis and/or skateboarding on a nearby highway. Photography by RJ Shaughnessy.

So has anyone taken the East River Ferry yet? It’s still free for about a week and then it’s four bucks. Sounds amazing compared to taking the G-train this summer. It makes a number of nice stops in Greenpoint, Dumbo, two stops in Manhattan and a short walk from my place in Williamsburg. I’m on a boat badge anyone? First photo taken by Jesse Haff at the Greenpoint stop. No...

The country of Canada is stepping up their game (hah) for the Olympics. I normally prefer their uniforms, opening/closing ceremony outfits, and overall identity compared to my United States who normally have very out dated looks (US Baseball logo) or very trendy thanks to Nike. Canada apparently likes to keep it simple, and I’m totally down with that. Oh Canada!
