Love this piece by Erik Marinovich. The top-right bird reminds me of my sister’s cockatiel she had back in high school. She got her free from a friend and became a popular pet in the household. My mother taught her how to say my mother’s name and that she was a pretty girl. She came with the name Shaley, but when my family moved to Boston we had to give her away, and found out Shaley was always a boy.
