This weekend I went up to Dartmouth Massachusetts where my Mother spends the cold months as she rents her house during Summer. I wanted to take a weekend to get away from the city, get lots of fresh air, family time, and help my Mother with a number of things around the house.
On Sunday my sister, Mother and I took the dog to her favorite spot, the dunes of Horseneck Beach. The area was quiet and remembered me a lot of this scene in Harry Potter.
My mothers backyard is wetlands, to the amount of moss which grows in her backyard is out of control. She uses a lot of it with flower/bulb arrangements she gives away as gifts.
You won’t fit in with the neighbors unless you have an old truck or car somewhere in your backyard. Where else would the mice of Massachusetts stay warm?
My favorite pup on earth. All she does is run in the woods and sniff every hole and tree. I like to brag as the vet always tells my mom Cleo is the healthy dog she’s ever seen. Another point for the mutts!
Each Fall visit to Dartmouth always entails in a few truck loads of wood to stack. Sure beats a gym workout.
Just got a pretty awesome email from Sixpoint telling me they got some press, but also that I got a little press myself for my piece I did for Sixpoint’s Facebook Profile Picture Contest. Meredith Olson, a Writer at my favorite local publications/blogs wrote a piece highlighting the contest, and featured my illustration. Unfortunately they got my name wrong, but we’re working on that.
