My sister Emilie has been blogged by a number of blogs in recent years for her company Gildem. She has been mentioned by Design For Mankind, Apartment Therapy, PoppyTalk, among others for her home-goods which she makes in her small studio just north of LA. This RISD graduate launched Gildem in 2009 focusing on original designed pieces out of leather and wood. Yesterday she got some love from Creature Comforts, being in a gift guide for guys/dads. Her key chain which was featured, sells for only $12. Emilie also has a couple new items in development including a clock.
