One thing that’s lacking from my bar at home is a gin bottle. Normally I don’t need gin, because whiskey will always do, but you need a full bar, right? Bombay or Hendrick’s were the obvious choices, but then I came across Brooklyn Gin. The amazing bottle sure makes up for the lack of a real web site, or the fact that I don’t even know if it’s any good. At this rate I might have my whole bar from Brooklyn (see here).
Trojanowski Liqours in Williamsburg sells it, and it’s also sold elsewhere around New York. They have it on the shelf at one of my new favorite bars, next to my friends’ new place, The Drink. If you’re in Manhattan, Freemans also has it.

Been a little obsessed with Curbed this week. My biggest obsession is this townhouse in the East Village. Excuse me…townhouses. Two townhouses being sold together for just under thirteen million. A lot until you realize it’s down form eighteen million. Deal right!? Speaking of eighteen, these digs have eighteen fire places. Check out these floor plans! It’s a ridiculous amount of space, but if you got that cash why not. Everyone needs two living rooms, two parlors and two foyers.
So has anyone taken the East River Ferry yet? It’s still free for about a week and then it’s four bucks. Sounds amazing compared to taking the G-train this summer. It makes a number of nice stops in Greenpoint, Dumbo, two stops in Manhattan and a short walk from my place in Williamsburg. I’m on a boat badge anyone?

League of Two is a short show about successful collaborators and what they do exactly, such as Andy Spade and Anthony Sperduti. Except know one really knows what they do, they just do…awesome things. Such as the the grand opening of the Going out of Business store, which is going out of business of course.
All I want to do is have plenty of money to do random shit like this with a couple smart people I know. If you don’t laugh at least a little from this video I guess we have different taste.
