Little stuck on a current hand-drawn gig poster. In need of some inspiration to evolve the look and feel, and found it here.

Great ongoing beer series by Dave Murray. Favorite has to be the PBR above.

Amazed by the Drawing Machine developed by Eske Rex. If I had the space I’d already be planning on how I’m going to make my own drawing machine. I do have roof space. The best thing about this concept is you really don’t know how they wish finish, and you can grab a cup of coffee while it develops. The close-up shots are the best, showing how fast the pen really is drawing.
Great fourteen minute video of world famous typographer Erik Spiekermann. He makes some really great point and I think I had to agree on just everything he said, especially his view on George W. Bush.
Daniel Weil sketches a lot, nearly 400 sketchbooks since 1978. At times he works on different projects, yet keep them in on sketchbook as one idea can generate new ideas for another project. His books has become a record of his creative process as well as a diary.

Dig the work of Chris Silas Neal who works up at Greenpoint’s Pencil Factory. His handwritten typography, colors, and textures makes his work really interesting and inspiring. My favorite piece is the above Fleet Foxes poster. I just love the color combo with the rad illustrations.
