Flipboard or The Daily? Doesn’t matter because I still need an iPad!

David Carson is returning to print with a bi-monthly magazine titled C A R S O N. No one is exactly sure of the role he will take with the magazine from what I’ve read, or how well the magazine will do, but it is exciting to see what might come of it, and how it will separate itself from other creative publications. A six issue subscription will run you twenty dollars a year. So far only a splash page and Twitter account have been posted.

Great pieces of the past years Vogue’s overlapped, of each countries publication. It’s really cool to see which colors each country picks, the positioning of the cover model, and type sizes they use. I couldn’t find the artist right off, but these are a couple of my favorites, with rest here.

Intelligence in Lifestyle is one good looking publication. Better known as IL, this monthly magazine for men, but also read by women is sold with Italy’s II Sole 24 ORE newspaper. I have no idea what any of it says, but the covers, as well as their inside layout and infographics blow me away with their perfection. Check out their Flickr with all the covers and some of the inside layout.
