Identity and website I did for my sister Emilie’s small business Gildem. Emilie who majored in furniture design at the Rhode Island School of Design in Providence began creating one-of-a-kind designs from start to finish. Started as an Etsy store, in the past two years she has been shown in Sunset magazine, as well as top home and design blogs such as Apartment Therapy, Decor8 and Design For Mankind. Within the past year she has received a numerous wholesale orders on top of normal sales from as close as San Fransisco and as far as Australia. With the new site she is looking to grow the company faster with new designs, as well as grow her brand.

Finished up Mackenzie Schmidt’s portfolio website last week. Still with some corrections, and a few more pages to develop, but has really been fun working on redoing her site and creating a whole identity for her. Will post the new business cards sometime soon. Check the site out mackenziecschmidt.com, and follow her on Twitter @kenzschmidt.
Here is the latest poster for Little Anchor’s upcoming show with Anni Rossi, DEIDRE, and Uncles at Glasslands Gallery in Williamsburg Brooklyn. Little Anchor will be performing their revamped single “Until Our Eyes Adjust”, as well as handing out free copies of the single which I was also lucky enough to illustrate/design. I’ve seen the CDs and they are looking awesome, and will have photos later. In the meantime blog this poster, and also check out Little Anchor’s website new site, which I’ve tried my best disguise from looking like a Tumblr page.

That is totally that typeface…I just don’t know what it is. The end is near, well at least help is near for those with the typeface on the tip of their tongue. Fonts In Use helps us with that matching game exactly as well as some interesting facts of the project.
